Refund and Returns Policy

At Star Gems (www.stargems.co.in), every product is carefully checked and packed with insurance before dispatch. Since we deal in gemstones, jewelry, and related items, which are sensitive, unique, and valuable in nature, we follow a strict No Return, No Refund policy.


1) No Returns / Exchanges

  • We do not accept returns, replacements, or exchanges for any product once sold.
  • This policy applies to all domestic and international orders.

2) No Refunds

  • Once an order is placed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded.
  • Refunds are not issued in cases of dislike, change of mind, or personal preference.

3) Damaged / Wrong Product Exception

Although all shipments are fully insured and carefully checked:

  • If you receive a product that is damaged in transit or different from what you ordered, you must notify us within 24 hours of delivery with the following:
    • Order ID
    • Clear photos of the product & packaging
    • Unboxing video (mandatory for claims)
  • Once verified, we will coordinate with our logistics partner and provide a suitable resolution (replacement or insurance claim settlement).

4) Non-Delivery of Orders

  • In the rare case that your order is lost in transit by the courier, we will initiate a claim with the shipping insurance and provide a replacement or compensation as per insurance coverage.

5) Important Notes

  • Customers must provide the correct shipping address and active phone number at checkout. Orders not delivered due to incomplete/incorrect details are not eligible for refunds.
  • International buyers are responsible for customs duties, VAT, import taxes, or clearance delays in their country. Such cases are not refundable.
  • All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Chennai, India.
